What should we do if we haven’t backed up the private key of Google Authenticator of Hotbit?

Indispensable step: If you can login your Hotbit account, you are supposed to open SMS verification and unbind the existing Google Authenticator.

1.You need to login the official website of Hotbit:  https://www.hotbit.io/ and input your email, password and google verification code accordingly to login your account.

2.Click the account to enter the backstage supporter and disable the Two-factor authentication.

3.Input your password of Hotbit account and google verification code and confirm unbinding the Google Authenticator of Hotbit account.

4.Enable the Google Authenticator and bind it and back up your private which is very important. Input your login password and new google verification code(please refer to the fifth step that how to finish the installment of Google Authenticator and get the verification code) and confirm to finish the binding of Google Authenticator

5 How to download Google Authenticator: download link for Android version:  http://shouji.baidu.com/software/22417419.html   Search “Google Authenticator” in App Store for IOS version. And scan the QR code of Google Authenticator on the webpage of Hotbit. If manually adding is needed, please input the private key provided. 

Input your account name of Hotbit and the private key which has been backed up. Click addition and Google Authenticator would be done.

If you cannot receive relevant text messages from us due to the fact that the mobile network service provider in your country blocked relevant numbers, please raise a support ticket to us for resetting your Google Authenticator and rebinding the backup.
