Hotbit Supports the Mainnet Upgrade of BTM on August 18th, 2021

Dear respected user,

    According to the Bytom Foundation plan, Hotbit will support the Mainnet upgrade of BTM(Bytom) at the ratio of 1:1. Further details about this change are shown on the timeline below:

 

1. Hotbit will suspend the deposit and withdrawal function of BTM on 10:00 AM August 19th, 2021 UTC;

2. Hotbit will take a snapshot of BTM at the height of 709,660 on the Bytom mainnet, which is expected to be at approximately 02:00 AM UTC on August 20th, 2021. The estimated time is for users’ reference only and the actual snapshot time is subject to the block progress;

Note: Unconfirmed BTM deposits and pending BTM withdrawals will not be counted in user snapshot balances.

3. After the replacement is completed, the old BTM assets held by users will be replaced for new BTM assets. At that time, please obtain the latest address on new BTM deposit page for transfer. Please do not deposit the old BTM to your new BTM deposit address, otherwise the loss caused will not be recovered.

4. The detailed information of new BTM, the opening time of new BTM deposit and withdrawal functions will be announced separately.
