As we all know, due to this round of hacker attack, Hotbit has already suspended all external services. According to Hotbit’s recovery and restoration plan, Hotbit will resume the deposit and withdrawal functions of assets and spot trading function as top priorities. After everything runs smoothly, Hotbit will then recover the function of leveraged ETF trading.Please refer to Hotbit’s official communities and media channels for all latest and real-time updates regarding the progress of Hotbit platform’s recovery and restoration process.
According to the innate features of leveraged ETF trading, the users tend to conduct and purchase short-term ETF trading activities and products instead of long-term activities and products. Considering the fact that the ETF trading activities has been suspended for a comparatively long period of time, certain huge fluctuations may have already occurred on the market during this period. Meanwhile, Hotbit has also received a lot of advice and suggestions from its communities regarding the issue. Hence, Hotbit has decided to close all existing positions on Hotbit’s leveraged ETF section. Please refer to the following information for the detailed plan:
1.The positions held by all users on Hotbit’s leveraged ETF section will be closed according to the relevant net values by 08:30, May 2nd, 2021 (UTC).
2.Hotbit will calculate and analyze the net values of each user’s positions on its leveraged ETF section by 20:00, April 29th, 2021 (UTC). If comparing with the net values of their positions by 20:00, April 29th, 2021 (UTC), the users have gained incomes by 8:30, May 2nd, 2021 (UTC), then the users will still enjoy this part of incomes; in case that comparing with the net values of their positions by 20:00, April 29th, 2021 (UTC), the users have suffered from losses by 8:30, May 2nd, 2021 (UTC), then Hotbit will be responsible for all relevant users’ losses generated during this period.
3.According to the enthusiastic suggestions of the community, we mainly focus on deposit and withdrawal services of recovery. Therefore, the liquidation of all assets in leveraged ETF section will be finished before 03:00 PM, May 18th, 2021 (UTC). At that time, users can check the assets of ETF section. Please wait patiently for the subsequent official announcement about the specific launch time of ETF section!
After the recover and restoration of its official website, Hotbit will settle and distribute all relevant incomes and losses to all relevant users’ asset accounts according to the plan above as soon as possible.
