Introduction to the CasperLabs（CLX） project:

CasperLabs is known as a smart contract platform based on PoS mechanism that aims to establish highly decentralized, scalable and secure next-gen blockchain infrastructure and realize Casper CBC PoS consensus algorithm. The “Correct-by-construction (CBC) Casper PoS” consensus algorithm is a permissionless, decentralized and highly secure PoS mechanism, which is known as the important version regarding the eventual conversion from Ethereum mechanism to the significant landmark of PoS mechanism -- Casper protocol. CasperLabs team has been developing this project since November 2018, and has so far released 14 developed versions. The testnet of CasperLabs is scheduled to launch by the end of March 2020, and the mainnet of CasperLabs is also scheduled to be released within 2020.

Functions and Features：

CasperLabs eliminates the barriers regarding the large-scale adoption of blockchain. While other blockchain infrastructure platforms normally focus on the solution to single problems or aim at solving “technical difficulties”, CasperLabs holds the point of view that the establishment of platform cannot merely be realized by functions and features. Through the support of most popular programming languages, various open standards and developer tools, CasperLabs team aims at eliminating the barriers regarding the expansion of new thoughts and ideas and new businesses of the team itself and its developers. Meanwhile, CasperLabs team also focuses on providing the platform itself and all smart contracts running on the platform with upgradability. Based on the understanding regarding the connections between blockchain and the economy and technologies of the real world, CasperLabs team strives to avoid the occurrence of any barriers to the establishment of applications on CasperLabs network.
