Due to the fact that recently, Hotbit has suffered from frequent DDOS attacks conducted by unknown malicious attackers, the peak volume of service requests received by Hotbit platform has been increased by several hundred times compared with normal volume of requests. Despite the fact that Hotbit platform has taken various defensive measures immediately, during certain time periods, the users may still possibly encounter difficulties with the login process of their Hotbit accounts. We hereby strongly condemn all such illegal activities conducted by the attacker, and we have already collected sufficient evidences for legal actions on such activities at an appropriate time.
Considering the fact that theoretically, DDOS attacks only cause great pressures for web servers without touching or destroying any data, all Hotbit users’ assets are still secure in their accounts. The users may only encounter temporarily difficulties either when they try to visit Hotbit official website or deposit / withdraw any assets into and out of Hotbit platform.
