The Announcement and Initial Statements Regarding the Problems That Occurred During the Purchase of Lichang on Hotbit Polaris.
By Hongkong Time (HKT) 20:00 and 21:00 today (April 7th, 2019), Hotbit Polaris’ first project Lichang has attracted tremendous attention of our community users. The hard caps of the abovementioned two purchase sessions have been reached within an extremely short period of time. The number of online users of both sessions has exceeded 2,000. First, we hereby sincerely appreciate the passionate participation of all users from Lichang and Hotbit communities.
However, we have also noticed that a great number of users from our communities have questioned about the fact that the purchase ended too quickly. After frequent communications with our users and our urgent inspections, our conclusions are as follows:
1. Part of our users have actually successfully completed the purchase activity. However, due to the unclear online notice that those users received after their successful purchase, they have mistakenly assumed that their purchase failed. Hence, can all of our purchasers please double check if you have already obtained LC as your asset by signing in to your personal accounts, click “personal asset(s), then click “deposit and withdrawal”. If you literally view any LC asset in your account, it means that you have successfully purchased LC.
2. After our initial inspection, we have revealed the fact that the operation model of a certain proportion of our users during the purchase sessions is very close to the operation model of automatic scripts, which jeopardized the fairness of the overall purchase sessions. Regarding this problem, we will public further announcement of our solutions after further inspection.
3. For all users who failed to purchase LC during these two rounds of activities, Hotbit will arrange to process the support tickets regarding the deposit and withdrawal requests of these users in priority order.
4. We have noticed that, after the purchase round of HTB/LC, the price of HTB has fluctuated greatly, which caused certain loss to part of our users who failed to purchase LC. Hence, we hereby urge these users to either lodge support tickets to or contact our customer service team regarding the situation. Hotbit will compensate all relevant users according to their actual situation.
During this round of purchase activity, Hotbit has underestimated some of the unexpected situations occurred. We hereby sincerely apologize to all our users. However, LC project team is irrelevant to all problems and situations occurred during the purchase. We hope that our communities will continue to support LC and their future events.
