Announcement on the suspension of the deposit ,withdrawal and trading functions of BDT on Hotbit

Dear respected users:

Due to the unreasonable action of BDT project team, we had to close the deposit, withdrawal and trading functions of BDT.

As we all know, helping users to swap mainnet tokens has already become a common market practice for various cryptocurrency exchanges. Hotbit has already conducted token swap operations for more than 10 projects, including EOS and AE.

During the process of the assistance of the current mainnet Swap for BDT project team, in order to conduct the token swap, Hotbit had already returned all ERC 20-based BDT tokens to the project team according to common market practice at 14:52:46 UTC on February 3rd, 2019 by TxID 0xb19a4183cecfd568367351d68ec0b744fc3816434d7b7024c1ef9e42eae605cc

However, we are extremely shocked by the fact that, due to the dispute between BDT project team and its private funding investors, BDT project team has openly refused to swap the portion of the BDT tokens involved in their dispute, which is 4,275,314.495409350469420594 BDT in total.

Hence, this portion of BDT tokens sold out by the above mentioned investor has already become the legal asset of various purchasers. Considering the fact that BDT project team refused to Swap this portion of tokens with no legal basis, it appears to us that such action of BDT project team has already constituted the embezzlement of our users’ assets.

Consequently, Hotbit has decided to close the deposit, withdrawal and trading of BDT tokens on our platform, and will continue to urge the project team to perform their duties.
