Project Features

Herbalist aims to revolutionize the supply chain method in agriculture industry. In current supply chain almost %68 of the produce is lost due to inefficiency of the supply chain. In addition, farmers/producers only gets the %13 of the money paid by the customer. In other words, customers pay extra money to services which do not add any value and also pay for the loss produce caused due to inefficiency of the current supply chain.

Herbalist project’s goal is to eliminate intermediate steps which do not add value to product, in supply chain with the help of blockchain technology. In order to achieve this, Herbalist will create a marketplace forproducers and customers where producers can list their produce with visuals and information. In this marketplace customers will be able to search for the product they want and buy it from the producer who they believe is best.  In this marketplace

• Producers will earn more money compared to the current supply chain method
• Customers will pay less money for the product they buy
• Customers will enjoy fresher produce
• Loss produce will decrease

Herbalist project is designed on the blockchain where payments will be made with HERB token between two parties. Parties will not also pay extra money for currency conversions and bank commissions. Moreover, the anonymity of blockchain will help customers or producers to be stay anonym if they choose to. Another goal of Herbalist project is to help blockchain to be used in people’s daily life and improve its acceptance by people and other authorities.

Token Status and Distribution

Initial Coin Offering for Herbalist token only lasted 60 hours and %53 of the tokens were sold and distributed to investors immediately. %21 of the tokens are reserved for future funding of Exchanges, promotions and other expenses. %8 of the tokens are reserved to the team.  The remaining %18 of tokens will be used for Airdrop&Bounty, Herbalist volunteer program and marketing.
