Project Features
Founded in November 2016, Humaniq was one of the pioneers launched a token sale as a fundraising method long before it became a mainstream. The project raised $110,000 during its token presale stage and focused on designing its core product, the Humaniq Mobile App. Its MVP version was launched well before the start of the token generation campaign.
During the public token sale, over $5 million was raised allowing the project to develop the frontend and backend parts of the App, including a proprietary biometric identification system and a wallet features. The app became available to download in Google Play on 1 November 2018 after successful pilot launches in the project’s target countries (Ghana, Botswana, Nigeria, and Tanzania). Today, with the Alpha version released in March 2017, the app is available in 16 African countries with more than 500,000 downloads.
Humaniq ambitious goal is to provide financial services for any individuals in the emerging markets and access to this audience for businesses and social organizations.
Token Status and Distribution
HMQ is (currently) an ERC-20 utility token that enables simple, cost-effective, and fair transactions within Humaniq platform financial services.
Our unique egalitarian emission model states that every platform user is entitled to receive a predefined set of HMQ tokens. To guarantee the transparency of all the transactions we have designed a proprietary Bio-ID system based on Hybrid Blockchain.
